INFORMATION CAMPAIGN ON SECURITY POLICY OBJECTIVES IN THE REPUBLIC OF MOLDOVA
The aim of the project is to strengthen the security culture and democratic resilience in the Republic of Moldova by improving the level of information and awareness of citizens on security policies, the objectives of security reforms and their impact on citizens.
The project aims to contribute to an informed public space that encourages active civic participation, transparency and accountability in security sector governance, and a constructive dialog between state and society.
Specific Objectives:
- Improve the accessibility of security information.
- Promote public interest in security issues.
Activities planned within the project:
- Series of opinions prepared by experts/te on security, public order, strategic communication, reintegration, etc.;
- Series of images entitled: “Did you know?”;
- Five video products, 3 of which Vox Populi on understanding security issues;
- Series of infographics addressing topics such as: threats, risks and vulnerabilities to state security; social cohesion; cyber security, etc.;
- Radio and TV broadcasts.
Period: March – August 2024
This project is being implemented with the support of the Geneva Center for Security Sector Governance (DCAF), in the framework of the project “Strengthening Security Sector Governance in Moldova”, funded by Sweden.
