TOOLKIT AGAINST MISINFORMATION: STRATEGIC COMMUNICATION TO REDUCE THE IMPACT OF MISINFORMATION

Project objectives:

• Facilitate communication between stakeholders and promote shared understanding of the role of strategic communication in combating misinformation.
• To establish common understanding of StratCom as both a mindset and a process.
• Strengthening the skills and knowledge of communication practitioners in the field of disinformation and StratCom.

Actions:

• Develop a Strategic Communicating and Countering Misinformation Guide as a tool to counter misinformation to help civil servants and communicators identify and respond to misinformation, providing guidance on best practices, processes and procedures of strategic communication.
• Conduct training for various stakeholders to demonstrate and provide guidance on the practical application of the toolkit in countering disinformation and implementing strategic communication.
