INSTITUTIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF THE PLATFORM FOR SECURITY AND DEFENSE INITIATIVES

In 2023, the Geneva Centre for Security Sector Governance (DCAF) launched a project to strengthen security sector governance in Moldova through partnerships with civil society organizations. In the framework of this project, the Platform for Security and Defense Initiatives (PISA) joined the initiative by signing a cooperation agreement to contribute to the common objectives.

The project aims: .

The aim of the project is to enhance the role of civil society in shaping and supporting national security policies by supporting the development of PISA’s capabilities and enhancing organizational sustainability.

Implementation period: July 2024 – December 2025

Target group: Beneficiaries of PISA activities and partners.

Results:

• PISA will be better equipped to advocate for comprehensive and inclusive security measures, providing critical expertise and promoting sustainable development in the sector.
• PISA capacities developed and organizational sustainability enhanced.
